There are some things in life that truly amaze me, this being the most amazing:
Spoiled people who always get what they want, but don't appreciate what they have.
I lost my great grandma, and I would give ANYTHING to have her back
....even a brand new car......

So I guess it has been awile....
Let's see....had a good summer, but a hard last week...
My great grandmother was really sick, so I had to miss two days of recruitment to come home and see her, which ended up being ok because it was the last time I got to see her.
She passed away on Friday, August 18th. She was conscious on Thursday when I spoke to her, which was amazing. She looked me in the face and told me that I looked like an angel. I told her that I loved her. And that was it. She passed away the next day.
The amazing thing was that the hospice nurse asked her if she was seeing angels, and my Nana said that Jesus was standing in the corner. I believe he was there waiting to take her to heaven. Later that day, my cousin asked her if she say Jesus, and Nana said "Leann, he's standing right behind you."
My cousin, Casey, is leaving for Iraq at the end of the month and he was in California. He got to come in and see her, and even sing at her funeral. She passed away a few hours after he got there. I really think she held on until all of her grandchildren could see her.
Rest in Peace....May Jesus lead you to heaven with your hand in his.....
